Love Session in Midtown

August 2, 2010

Alicia is one of my past bride’s sister and I feel so honored to be given the opportunity to photograph her wedding as well. So yesterday, we headed over to Midtown 4 for a long awaited engagement session with her and hubby to be, Keith. It was such a relaxing and naturally flowing e-session that of course the pictures would come out amazing! So great, indeed that I rushed to  play with my absolute favorites so that I can post them here before my trip this week. =)

I had the beautiful opportunity to photograph a maternity session a couple weeks ago.  How refreshing it is to step into different pools of photography! Being behind the camera, regardless of the subject in front, brings me a unique sense of liveliness that makes feel blessed to have found a career so perfect for me!

Anabelle, thank you so much for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture the beginning of a new life! I’m truly honored, you have a beautiful family.

I **hearts** this image:

Mileybi, at first seemed like she was going to be extremely shy in front of the camera so I must admit I was a little bit worried. But boy oh boy!! When she got in front of the camera, she was a PRO!! She was sweet, fun & natural. Here are a few of my faves!

Ula & Kevin wanted their engagement session to be like a fashion shoot with a vintage/Parisian theme…so here it is! We shot this session at the beautiful Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove. They were absolutely great to work with, talk about Hot!! And to top it off, I had 2 amazing assistants! Special thanks to Titi & Tangie, you’re the best!

I had the pleasure of photographing Allison and Eddy’s wedding this weekend at the beautiful Miami Beach Resort. The decor in this hotel has so much potential for amazing pictures! Usually, when I do the photo-walk with the bride and groom, I’m in search for the outside…the light! But there were so many great places for pictures in the inside of this hotel that I did not make it outside…The portrait below of Allison was taken right in the hallway in front of the elevator, love it!!

My best wishes to you both and thank you for sharing your day with me!
