Featured Wedding: Riz & Matt
May 15, 2009Hello all, I’ve selected a few of my favorites images from Riz & Matt’s wedding to feature on my site. Please take a look and tell me what you think!
In the process of making their picture selection for the slideshow, I opted to select those images that portrayed the emotions and the aura that so strongly surrounded us all. As I shot throughout the day, I couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of classical royalty (regardless of how modern & down to earth the bride was ;-)…with all the amazing colors, wardrobe and customs! Therefore as I shot and in post-production, I combined my photojournalist approach with traditional portraiture as well. I wanted the viewer to not be able to escape that old-time classical feeling of love but still maintain the bride and groom’s style & personalities!

the images from the wedding (especially riz) are just stunning. the images you captured not only depict a good time had by all but they perfectly capture our love story. i love riz with all my heart and it’s easy to see in her eyes and on her face that she knows it. thank you for a magnificent job. it was great to work with you….
