I had the pleasure of photographing Allison and Eddy’s wedding this weekend at the beautiful Miami Beach Resort. The decor in this hotel has so much potential for amazing pictures! Usually, when I do the photo-walk with the bride and groom, I’m in search for the outside…the light! But there were so many great places for pictures in the inside of this hotel that I did not make it outside…The portrait below of Allison was taken right in the hallway in front of the elevator, love it!!
My best wishes to you both and thank you for sharing your day with me!
Yes, I know…I know…it’s been a moment since my last post. What can I say? This wedding season, I’ve been like the “Energizer Bunny” I’ve kept going and going and going! Now it’s time to recharge!
So now wedding season is coming to it’s end here in Sunny (yet humid) S. Florida and I will say I’ve had an amazing round of couples this year! I feel more and more blessed after every wedding I photograph. All my brides have been absolutely stunning and the celebrations have been grand! Thank you, each and every single couple, for allowing me the opportunity to capture your smiles, tears, laughs and all those beautiful moments that made your day so special.
And so I’ve sorted through thousands and thousands (and thousands ) of images looking for my blog faves to share with all my viewers and here they are!
My latest wedding was in the beautiful Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach with Susy and Danny Sanchez. Kudos to Vivian Colls for a job well done on the floral design and to Belvedere Films for great Videography work!
This is one of my favorite portraits of Susy.
Stephanie & Robert married on the helicopter landing pad of the W Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. When you combine an adorable couple and a great production & design team, you’re bound to get excellence! Kudos to event designer Tangela Cummings of Admardecor, stage & lighting production by Drummer Boy Sound and event planner Richelle Wright of Raw Creativity. And a warm hello to Pastor & Lady Tomlinson, whom I photographed the previous week. You are a lovely family!
Another stunning beach wedding! Alicia & Adam came down from Wisconsin to have their destination wedding in Key West. As all my brides, she was absolutely breath-taking! The ceremony was right on the edge of Key West on the beach, it was warm and quaint with their closest friends and family. Later that night, we took a Sunset Cruise by Fury Cat which was absolutely spectacular! If you’re planning on going to Key West, I most definitely recommend going on one of these cruises. BTW the staff at Fury Cut were very friendly and professional, thumbs up to them!
I LOVE Lincoln Rd in Miami Beach for Engagement Sessions!! So many beautiful places to photograph, I could have easily spent the entire day shooting there….especially with Susy & Danny! Their session had a little bit of everything…sexiness, romance, fashion, humor…which is exactly what these sessions are suppose to be out! Love you guys!
Ximena & Patrick came all the way from California for a destination wedding at the Palm Beach Resort. After the ceremony, we headed to the beach…what a fun crowd! There was music, dancing, drinking, eating, umm let’s not forget pole dancing lol…and that was just on the party bus!!
Event Designer Tangela Cummings of Admardecor’ features Studio Andy Photography! In her Tasty Treat section of Sweet Confections, she notes the importance of adding character to your candy cart. As we partnered together for Clinique & Macy’s bridal event, we introduced the possibility of incorporating your own pictures in a grand display of themed candy bars, tables & carts! Great idea for engagement session images and sweet 16s parties!
You can view more samples of this concept in the Lace & Pearls and Clinique galleries of Admardecor’s Eye Candy page!
Hello everyone, I’m just coming back from the biggest photography conference of the year, ImagingUSA!! About 10,000 photographers in one place, unbelievable! It was a truly amazing experience to meet and learn from top photographers all over the world. My absolute favorite wedding photographers at the show were Joe Buissnik, Jose Villa, Jim Garner, Jerry Ghionis and most definitely Yervant!
